System Options: Mail Notification

Expand the System Options node in the tree view and select the Mail Notification node to display these options in the properties page. Select Commit Changes from the Action menu or press CTRL+ S to save your changes.

SMTP host
Enter the host name or the IP address of the SMTP (email) server host. This email information will be used when emailing reports.
Authentication
This group box contains options for logging into the SMTP Host. These options will be used to authenticate all email transactions when emailing reports.
User
Enter the user name that will be used when authenticating with the SMTP Host.
Password
Enter the password that will be used when authenticating with the SMTP Host.
Note:
Default sender The options in the Default sender group box apply only to Web Data Entry. Use these options to enter a system-level email address that is used in outbound email notifications.
Use this user's email address
Select this option button to enter the user's email address in the text box, or click the Select button to browse to and select the user's email address. Then, the user's email address will be in the "from” field in the email notification.
Use explicit email address
Select this option button to enter an email address other than the user's address in the text box. Ensure that it is a valid email account, which will be used in the “from” field in the email notification.
