Matrix Plots - Quick Tab

Graphical Analytic Techniques

Select the Quick tab of the Matrix Plots Startup Panel to specify either a square scatter matrix plot or a rectangular scatter matrix plot. For more types of matrix plots and additional options, use the Advanced tab.

Variables

Click the Variables button to display a standard variable selection dialog box, in which you can select the x- and (optional) y-axis variables for the graph. When you select Square matrix plots, you will need to select only variables for the x-axis; when you select Rectangular matrix plots, you will need to select variables for both the x- and y-axis. The selections made will be displayed below the Variables button.

Graph Type

Select from two types of matrix plots from the Graph Type list on this tab. Click the desired plot link below for a brief description of that type of graph. Note that additional graph types are available on both the Advanced tab and the Appearance tab.

Missing Data Deletion

Choose between Pairwise or Casewise deletion of missing data in this group box.
