3D Box Plot
Creates 3D Box Plots for each continuous variable, grouped by each categorical variable.
General
| Element Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Graph type | Specifies the type of 3D Box for the plot. |
| Middle (center) point | Specifies whether to use the mean or median as the middle or center point for the Box plots; note that different options for specifying the Box are available for each type of middle or center point. |
| Pooled variance | Specifies whether to estimate sigma from the pooled within-group variances when establishing confidence limits, etc., around a mean center points. |
| Trim distrib. extremes (in %) | Determines the percentage of extremes to be trimmed from the distribution before plotting. |
| Categorization | Defines the intervals for the grouping variable. |
| Number of categories | Specifies the number of categories for determining the intervals for the grouping variable; this option only applies when the Grouping intervals option is set to Number of categories. |
| Displays summary statistics | Determines if summary statistics are displayed in the graphs. |
Whiskers
| Element Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Mean center, whisker type | Specifies the whisker type when plotting the mean as the middle (center) value; this option is ignored if the Median is plotted as the center or middle value. |
| Mean center; whisker coeff | Specifies the whisker coefficient; applicable to Mean Middle point only. |
| Median center, whisker value | Specifies the whisker type; applicable to Median Middle point only. |
| Median center, whisker coeff | Specifies the whisker coefficient; applicable to Median Middle point only. |
