Word Editor
The Word Editor dialog box is displayed whenever you request to edit the contents of a text (specifications) file, e.g., when you select Edit stop-word file on the Index tab of the Text Mining dialog box. Use the options in this dialog box to edit the contents of the file, to open a new file, or to save the contents of a text file to a different name.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Text | In this edit box, type in the words or terms you want to specify. For example, when specifying stop words [that are to be excluded from the indexing and analyses (in the English language, these would be words such as "a," "the," "about," etc.)], type in each stop word on a new line. |
OK (Save) | Click this button to save the current contents of the Stop words list to a text file. |
Cancel | Click this button to close the dialog box without saving the current contents or edits. |
Open | Click this button to open another text file. A standard file selection dialog box will be displayed. |
Save as | Click this button to save the current contents to a new file. |
