GAM Specifications
Click the OK button in the Generalized Additive Models Startup Panel to display the GAM Specifications dialog box, which contains two tabs: Quick and Options.
- OK
- Click the OK button to begin the estimation procedure. A series of results spreadsheets and graphs will be produced; see GAM Summary Results Spreadsheets and Graphs for details. For details concerning the computations and interpretation of these results, refer to Hastie and Tibshirani (1990). Note that if you have not already specified your variables, a standard variable selection dialog box will first be displayed when you click this button.
- Cancel
- Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box without performing an analysis and return to the Generalized Additive Models Startup Panel.
- Options
- Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
- Model
- The Model group box displays the Distribution and Link function that was selected on the Generalized Additive Models Startup Panel - Quick tab.
