Bivariate Histograms
Creates 3D sequential bivariate histograms for categorical and continuous variables. All pairs of variables for the horizontal (X, and Y) axes will be cross-tabulated, and the frequencies shown in 3D histograms. For categorical variables, specific codes can be selected to identify the classes for the histograms.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
General | |
Categorization (Y) | Specifies the type of categorization for continuous (dependent, Y) variables (for categorical dependent variables, either codes or the Integer-Auto categorization default is used. |
Number of categories (Y) | Specifies the number of intervals or categories for the histograms of continuous Y variables; only applicable to continuous variables, and if Number-of-categories categorization is selected. |
Categorization (X) | Determines the type of categorization for continuous (predictors, X variables); for categorical predictors, either codes or the Integer-Auto categorization default is used. |
Number of categories (X) | Specifies the number of intervals or categories for the histograms of continuous predictors (X variables); only applicable to continuous variables, if Number-of-categories categorization is selected. |
Detail of computed results reported | Detail of computed results; if All results is selected, the total count and Chi-Square will also be computed and reported. |
