Workbook - Tab Control - Top (One Row)

You can access the Top (one row) function in the following ways:
  • Ribbon bar: Select the Workbook tab. In the Tools group, click Tab Control and from the menu, select Top (one row) to place the workbook tabs at the top of the workbook viewer.
  • Classic menus: From the Workbook tab, select Control submenu, select Top (one row) to place the workbook tabs at the top of the workbook viewer.

Workbooks store each output document as a tab. You can easily navigate the children of the node currently selected in the workbook tree using the tabs provided in the workbook viewer. The commands on the Workbook - Tab Control menu specify where the tabs are placed and whether they are contained in a single, scrollable row or multiple rows. Note that these commands are for the current workbook only. To make global changes to the workbook tab orientation and maximum character length, access the Documents: Workbooks tab of the Options dialog box (accessible by clicking Options on the Tools tab or menu).
