Workbook - Tab Control - Left (Multiple Rows)

You can access the Left (multiple rows) function in the following ways:
  • Ribbon bar: Select the Workbook tab. In the Tools group, click Tab Control and from the menu, select Left (multiple rows) to place the workbook tabs to the left of the workbook viewer in multiple rows.
  • Classic menus: From the Workbook tab select Control submenu, select Left (multiple rows) to place the workbook tabs to the left of the workbook viewer in multiple rows.
Note: you can also access this option by right-clicking on any item in the workbook tree and selecting Tab Control > Left (multiple rows) from the Workbook Tree shortcut menu.

Workbooks store each output document as a tab. You can navigate the children of the node currently selected in the workbook tree using the tabs provided in the workbook viewer. The commands on the Workbook - Tab Control menu specify where the tabs are placed and whether they are contained in a single, scrollable row or multiple rows. Note that these commands are for the current workbook only. To make global changes to the workbook tab orientation and maximum character length, access the Documents: Workbooks tab of the Options dialog box (accessible by clicking Options on the Tools tab or menu).
