Nodes - New Connection

On the Statistica workspace Nodes menu (classic menus), select New Connection to connect a data source to an analytic or data cleaning and filtering node in the project. After selecting this command, the cursor changes to a red arrow . Click on the data source for the connection and then drag the arrow to the analysis or data cleaning and filtering node to which you want to connect. You notice that a line follows the arrow as you are moving it over the target (example, the analysis node). To finalize the connection (data path) click on the chosen analysis or data cleaning node and connect the head of the arrow. At that point the analysis or data cleaning node becomes "dirty," which means, shows a red frame around it, indicating that the new connection has not been updated (evaluated, computed) yet.
