SANN - Custom Neural Network/Automated Network Search (ANS)/Subsampling - Initialization Tab
You can select the Initialization tab of the SANN - Custom Neural Network, SANN - Automated Network Search (ANS), or SANN - Subsampling dialog box to access the options described here. For information on the options that are common to all tabs (located at the top and on the lower-right side of the dialog box), see SANN - Custom Neural Network, SANN - Automated Network Search (ANS), or SANN - Subsampling.
| Option | Description |

| Seed control for network initialization | Specifies a seed that is used to randomly generate the initial network weights. You have the choice of either specifying the seed value or making SANN use the system time to provide the algorithm with a seed. In the latter case, no two analyses are the same (which is the recommended option). |
| Use fixed seed | Select this check box to use the specified seed, which is used in the random generation of network weights. |
| Seed value | Specifies the seed that is used to randomly generate the initial values of the network weights. |
