Gage Capability - Options Tab

Select the Options tab in the Gage capability dialog box to access the options described here.

Computation method

Use the options in this group box to specify the appropriate computation method.

BMW method

Select the BMW method option button to base appropriate gage calculations on the BMW method.

Bosch / Daimler-Chrysler method

Select the Bosch / Daimler-Chrysler method option button to base appropriate gage calculations on the Bosch / Daimler-Chrysler method.

Ford method

Select the Ford method option button to base appropriate gage calculations on the Ford method.

General

Select the General option button to be able to specify the Percent tolerance and the Sigma limit.

Reset

Click the Reset button to return the options to default settings.

Save settings as default

Click this button to retain the settings selected as the default, i.e., the next time you access this dialog, the settings previously set will be still be applied.
