Edit Format - Number Tab
Select the
Number tab of the
Edit Format dialog box (or the
Format Cells dialog box) to access options to select a specific format for number values.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Display Format | Select a format from the Display Format list to be applied to the selected text or the format. See Display Formats and Custom Number Formats for more information on format categories. If you select Number, Scientific, Currency, or Percentage as the Category, the Decimal places box is available to further define the format. |
| Sample | The Sample field displays sample values according to the choices you have made in the Display Format list. |
| Include Number features in the format | When you clear the Include Number features in the format check box, all of the settings on this tab are removed. When you select any of the options on this tab, this check box is automatically selected. |
