Edit Format - Alignment Tab

Select the Alignment tab of the Edit Format dialog box (or the Format Cells dialog box) to access the options described here.
Option Description
Vertical The option button selected in the Vertical group box determines the vertical alignment of the text.
Top Select the Top option button to specify top alignment of the text.
Center Select the Center option button to specify center alignment of the text.
Bottom Select the Bottom option button to specify bottom alignment of the text.
Horizontal The option button selected in the Horizontal group box determines the horizontal alignment of the text.
Left Select the Left option button to specify left alignment of the text.
Center Select the Center option button to specify center alignment of the text.
Right Select the Right option button to specify right alignment of the text.
Auto Select the Auto option button to display text from left to right numeric values right to left.
Orientation The option button selected in the Orientation group box determines the orientation (or angle) of the text.
Horizontal Select the Horizontal option button to specify horizontal orientation of the text.
Vertical Select the Vertical option button to specify vertical orientation of the text.
3D Effect Select the 3D Effect check box to apply a 3D border surrounding the cell(s) to which the format is applied. Clear the 3D Effect check box to apply a flat border surrounding the cell(s) to which the format is applied. Finally, select the check box to a mixed-state (i.e. the check box is selected and also gray) to not affect any border changes to the cell(s) to which the format is applied.
Wrap text Select this check box to specify that text can appear on multiple lines in a cell. Text will wrap automatically, or you can enter a manual line break.
Include Alignment features in the format When you clear the Include Alignment features in the format check box, all of the settings in the Vertical, Horizontal, and Orientation frames are removed. When you select any of the options in the Vertical, Horizontal, or Orientation frames, this check box is automatically selected.
