Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard - Correlate Residuals

In the Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard - Latent Variables dialog box, select the Correlated option button in the Residual Variables group box and click the OK button to display the Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard - Correlate Residuals dialog box. Use these options to enter paths for correlations between residuals in a confirmatory factor model.

List Boxes

Select the residuals you want to correlate in these two boxes. All non-redundant correlations between the residual variables selected in the left box and those selected in the right box will be added to the model when you click the Correlate button. The far right list box will show all correlations currently queued to be added to the model.

Correlate

Click the Correlate>> button to add correlations for the selected residual variables.

Delete

Click the Delete>> button to delete selected correlations from the box on the far right.

OK

Click the OK button to proceed to the next dialog box in the Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard.

Exit

Click the Exit button to leave the Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard without completing a model.

Back

Click the Back button to return to the previous dialog box in the Confirmatory Factor Model Wizard.
