Regression Models for Censored Data - Options Tab

To access options to specify the regression model, select the Options tab of the Regression Models for Censored Data dialog box.

Options Description
Equal coefficients, different baseline h0 (in stratified analysis) Select the Equal coefficients, different baseline h0 (in stratified analysis) check box to fit a stratified model with constant coefficient vector for each group, but allowing for different baseline hazard (h0) in each group. Hence, observations in the same group (stratum) are assumed to have proportional hazard functions, but this is not necessarily the case for observations in different groups.
If this check box is cleared, Statistica allows for different baseline hazards as well as coefficient vectors in each group. For more information about stratification of proportional hazard models, see Lawless (1982, page 365).
Note: This check box is only available if the selected model on the Regression Models for Censored Data dialog box - Quick tab is Proportional hazard (Cox) regression and if you have selected a stratification (grouping) variable.
Non-default no. iterations, start values, etc. Select the Non-default no. iterations, start values, etc. check box to display the Regression Model Estimation dialog box before the Regression Results dialog box is displayed when you click the OK button in the Regression Models for Censored Data dialog box. If this check box is cleared, the Regression Results dialog box is displayed after you click OK.
