Workspace Node: 2D Bar Column Plots - Quick Tab

The 2D Bar Column Plots workspace node can be accessed from the Feature Finder, ribbon bar, or Node Browser. The Quick tab of the specifications dialog box is displayed by default when you double-click the node.

These graphs represent simple sequences of values (one case is represented by one bar/column). When more than one variable is selected, either multivariate clusters of bars/columns are plotted (one cluster per case) or each variable is represented in a separate graph, depending on the Graph type selected.

Element Name Description
Variables Click this button to display a variable selection dialog box, in which you select the variable(s) to be included in the analysis.
Graph type Select the type of bar/column plot to be plotted.

Regular

Multiple

Orientation Select the orientation of the variables in the bar/column graph.
Vertical The values of the selected variable(s) will be plotted as columns (against the y-axis).
Horizontal The values will be plotted as horizontal bars (against the x-axis).
Reference lines Values/Axis selection. Specify for each of the four limits (Y1, Y2, X1, and X2), whether you want the limit displayed in the graph by selecting the respective check box, and also the exact coordinate of the limit on the respective axis (i.e., its value) that determines its position in the graph.
Options / C / W See Common Options.
OK Click this button to accept all the specifications made in the dialog box and to close it.

The results are placed in the Reporting Documents workspace node after running (updating) the project.
