File - Save As

Select Save As from the File menu to display the standard Save As dialog, which is used to save a new query or save an existing query under a different name. By default, the query will be saved as a STATISTICA Query file (.sqy). This option is only available if an SQL statement has first been created. Note that the file name that you specify here may or may not be identical to the name that you specify in the Name field on the Returning External Data to Spreadsheet dialog. While the name that is specified on the Returning External Data to Spreadsheet dialog is an internal name that only STATISTICA uses, the .sqy file name that is specified here can be used to open the SQL statement in other applications. In this manner, you will have access to all queries that you have written in STATISTICA Query regardless of whether or not you are actually working in STATISTICA.
