Delete Variables
You can access the Delete Variables dialog box in the following ways:
- Ribbon bar. Select the Edit tab. In the Clipboard/Data group, click Delete and on the menu, select Variables to display the Delete Variables dialog box.
- Classic menus. On the Edit - Delete submenu, select Variables to display the Delete Variables dialog box.
Option | Description |
---|---|
From variable | In the From variable box, designate the first variable (inclusive) in the block of variables to be deleted. (Note that if you are deleting only one variable, then designate the same variable in both the From variable and To variable boxes.) |
To variable | In the To variable box, designate the last variable (inclusive) in the block of variables to be deleted. |
To delete variables from the spreadsheet, type the desired variable numbers in the From variable and To variable boxes, and click the OK button. You can select a variable from a list of all variables in the spreadsheet by double-clicking (or pressing F2 on your keyboard) in the From variable and To variable fields.
