Life Table and Survival Time Distribution Results - Quick Tab

Select the Quick tab of the Life Table & Survival Time Distribution Results dialog box to access options to display the results of the analysis.
Option Description
Summary: Life table Displays a spreadsheet with the complete life table. In addition to the standard descriptive statistics, this spreadsheet contains estimates of the cumulative survival, the hazard rate, survival probability density, and the median life expectancy at each interval (see the Introductory Overview for a definition of these estimates). The standard errors of these estimates are also computed.
Results for model Use the Results for model drop-down box to fit to the data one of the four common theoretical distributions of survival times: Exponential, Linear Hazard, Gompertz, and Weibull. For the interpretation of the parameters for the Weibull distribution, see the Introductory Overview and Notes and Technical Information. The selection you make determines the output (parameters, graphs) displayed after selecting other options in this dialog.
Parameter estimates Displays a spreadsheet with the parameter estimates for the respective theoretical survival distribution. The particular model (theoretical distribution) to which the parameter estimates pertain can be chosen through the Results for model drop-down box . Survival Analysis fits the theoretical distributions through ordinary unweighted least squares that is, all weights equal to 1, and two methods of weighted least squares (see Notes and Technical Information for the interpretation of the parameters for the Weibull distribution). See also Weibull and Reliability/Failure Time Analysis in the Process Analysis module for options to fit the Weibull distribution to raw data using maximum likelihood methods
