Workspace Node: Crosstabulation Tables - Specifications - Quick Tab

The Crosstabulation Tables workspace node can be accessed from the Feature Finder, ribbon bar, or Node Browser. The Quick tab of the specifications dialog box is displayed by default when you double-click the node.

When you use these options, Statistica expects to crosstabulate standard categorical (grouping) variables (e.g., Gender, Ethnic Origin; see also Crosstabulation and Stub-and-Banner Tables Overviews).

Element Name Description
Specify tables (select variables) Click this button to select variables for a multiway crosstabulation table. A standard variable selection dialog box will be displayed. Crosstabulation tables will be computed for all possible combinations of variables from up to six selected lists. You can repeatedly use this option to add tables or lists of tables to the total list of tables that will be computed. To review or edit the current list of selected tables use the Review or delete tables option. Once you have selected variables, the number of tables to be created will be shown in the Number of tables field below this button.
Review or delete tables Click this button to display the Select the Tables to be Deleted dialog box, which contains options to review and edit the current list of selected tables.
Identification of levels in table factors The options in this group box are used to determine how the table factors will be labeled.
Use all integer codes in the selected vars Select this option button to use all integer code values in the selected variables for the crosstabulation.
Use selected groupings codes only Select this option button to specify the codes that are to be used for the crosstabulation tables. Click the Codes button to display the Select codes for grouping factors dialog box.
Weighted moments Select this check box to specify that each observation contributes the weighting variable's value for that observation. The weight values need not be integers. This node can use fractional case weights in most computations. Some other nodes use case weights as integer case multipliers or frequency values. This option is only available after you have defined a weight variable via the W option described below.

Options / C / W. See Common Options.

OK Click the OK button to accept all the specifications made in the dialog box and to close it. The analysis results will be placed in the Reporting Documents node after running (updating) the project.
