Fast Independent Component Analysis Startup Panel
Ribbon Bar:
Select the Data Mining tab. In the Clustering/Grouping group, click IC Analysis to display the Fast Independent Component Analysis Startup Panel.
Classic Menu: Select Independent Component Analysis from the Data Mining menu to display the Fast Independent Component Analysis Startup Panel. The Startup Panel contains three tabs: Quick, Options, and Deployment.
| Element Name | Element Type | Description |

| OK | Button | Creates an Independent Component model and display the Results dialog box after specifying options for the analysis. Available for creating new ICA models only. |
| Cancel | Button | Cancels the Independent Component analysis and close the Startup Panel. |
| Options | Menu | See for descriptions of the commands on this menu. |
| Open Data | Button | Displays the Select Data Source dialog box, which is used to choose the spreadsheet on which to perform the analysis. The Select Data Source dialog box contains a list of the spreadsheets that are currently active. |
| Select Cases | Button | Displays the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the Case Selection Conditions Overview, Syntax Summary, and dialog box description. |
| MD Deletion | Menu | Missing data can be deleted Casewise or substituted by means (Mean substitution) depending on the option selection under MD deletion. |
| Casewise | Button | Includes only the cases that do not contain any missing data for any of the selected variables in the analysis. |
| Mean Substitution | Button | Replaces missing data by the means for the respective variables (for this analysis only, not in the data file). |
