Opening New Applications, Opening Files, Printing

It is sometimes desirable to open a new Statistica application when running a Statistica Visual Basic application program to apply the program to a particular user input file and to save the results spreadsheets for further analyses in the future. Some of the example programs in Recording Simple Macros, Documenting and Analysis and Statistica Visual Basic (SVB) Programming Environment demonstrate how to create a new Statistica application and how to "connect" particular files for an analysis. In this section several additional examples of how to operate on files will be presented.
