GRM Introductory Overview - The Forward Entry Method
The forward entry method is the simplest model-building procedure available in GRM. At each step after Step 0, the entry statistic is computed for each effect eligible for entry in the model. If no effect has a value on the entry statistic which exceeds the specified critical value for model entry, then stepping is terminated, otherwise the effect with the largest value on the entry statistic is entered into the model. Stepping is also terminated if the maximum number of steps is reached.
