Life Table and Survival Time Distribution Results - Function Plots Tab

Select the Function plots tab of the Life Table & Survival Time Distribution Results dialog box to access options to display the results of the analysis in a graphical format.
Option Description
Results for model Use the Results for model drop-down box to fit to the data one of the four common theoretical distributions of survival times: Exponential, Linear Hazard, Gompertz, and Weibull.

For more information on the interpretation of the parameters for the Weibull distribution, see the Introductory Overview and Notes and Technical Information.

The selection you make determines the output (parameters, graphs) displayed after selecting other options in this dialog.

Plot of hazard function Displays a graph of the hazard function, and the actual observed data. The particular model (theoretical distribution) to which the estimated functions pertain can be chosen through the option Results for model drop-down box.
Plot of survival function Displays a graph of the survival function, and the actual observed data. The particular model (theoretical distribution) to which the estimated functions pertain can be chosen through the option Results for model drop-down box.
Plot of probability density function Displays a graph of the probability density function, and the actual observed data. The particular model (theoretical distribution) to which the estimated functions pertain can be chosen through the option Results for model drop-down box.
