Variable Control Chart Results - Process Capability Tab

Select the Process Capability tab of the Variable Control Chart Results dialog box to access options to set the specification limits for the currently highlighted (selected) variable in the list of variables at the top of the dialog box and to compute the process capability and process performance indices accordingly.

Create Cpk, Ppk, etc

Select this check box to compute the process capability and process performance indices for the currently selected (highlighted) variable.

Show specifications

Select this check box to display the specification limits for the currently selected (highlighted) variable in the chart.

Limits type

Specify the type of specification limit for the currently highlighted (selected) variable. Specification limits can be defined either as Nominal +/- Delta (i.e., as a constant plus or minus a second constant), as Lower nominal upper (i.e., as three constants to define the respective values), as Lower nominal to define (constant) one-sided lower specification limits, or as Nominal upper to define (constant) one-sided upper specification limits.

Limits

Specify here the constants to define the specification limits for the currently highlighted (selected) variable in the manner consistent with the selection in the Limits type box.

Specify the number of digits to be used to display process capability indices and related statistics
