Power Analysis and Interval Estimation - Settings I/O Tab
Power Analysis - General Purpose
Select the Settings I/O tab on any power calculation, sample size calculation, or interval estimation dialog box to access options to store settings for future use, recall previously used settings, or alter system defaults.
- Save
- Click the Save button to save all analysis settings for the current type of statistic. For example, if this option is used while any of the Power Calculation, Sample Size Calculation, or Interval Estimation dialog boxes for the 1-sample t-test are in use, all the current settings in those dialog boxes are saved. The first time you attempt to save settings to a file, Statistica prompts you for a file name, and the standard file selection dialog box will be displayed. Subsequent save commands will automatically save settings to the currently open file.
- Save As
- Click the Save As button to display a file selection dialog box. After you select a file name, Statistica saves all analysis settings for the current type of statistic to that file.
- Open
- Click the Open button to display a file selection dialog box. After you select a file name, Statistica searches that file for saved settings appropriate for the type of statistic currently being analyzed. If any are found, it replaces the current settings.
- Save As Default
- Click the Save As Default button to save all analysis settings for the current type of statistic as program defaults. These defaults are loaded automatically on subsequent uses of the program.
