Example 3: Styles for Individual Features

Advanced users can define and apply graph styles for altering individual graph features or hierarchically related groups of features via the options in the Graph Options dialog box. If, for example, the font of the x-axis label is increased to 20 points, bolded, and changed to red (using the Font button) in the Axis: Scale Values tab and the color of the x-axis line changed to blue on the Axis: General tab, these axis-related features can then be saved as a single graph style on the Axis: General tab by clicking the Style button . The defined axis style can be applied to subsequent graphs after creation by selecting the saved style in the Axis: General tab of the Graph Options dialog box. (Upon clicking the OK button, the axis style will be applied to whichever axis is selected in the Axis box at the top of the Axis: General tab).

Note: if a style for a particular feature or hierarchically related group of features is saved as the default style, all subsequent graphs made will reflect the redefined feature or features addressed by that style.
