Print Button

Click the button to print the current file. This is a shortcut method to send the current document to the default printer. Unlike using the Print command on the File menu (or pressing CTRL+P), clicking this shortcut button does not display the Print dialog. Instead, the entire file (or the selected section of a file) is sent to the printer, following the current Print settings (accessible from the File menu).

Printing documents in workbooks
Note that if you click the print button when a workbook is active, the selected file within the workbook is sent to the printer (e.g., a spreadsheet or graph). It is not possible to print a section of a file from within a workbook. To print the entire workbook, select Print from the File menu to display the Print dialog, and select the All option button in the Print range group.
