Workbook - Cut Workbook Document
Ribbon bar. Select the Workbook tab. In the Clipboard group, click Cut Item(s) to remove the selected item (and its children) from the workbook tree while copying it to the Clipboard.
Classic menus. On the Workbook menu, select Cut Workbook document to remove the selected item (and its children) from the workbook tree while copying it to the Clipboard.
This feature is useful when you want to move a portion of the tree to a different location within the workbook. To paste the contents in a new location, select either As first child, As last child, As prior sibling, or As next sibling on the Workbook - Paste as Workbook document submenu.
You can also access this command by right-clicking on any item in the workbook tree and selecting Cut Workbook document from the shortcut menu. For information on making selections in the workbook tree, see Can I select discontinuous items in the workbook tree?.
