ANOVA Tables for Experiments with Two- and Three-Level Factors

Both the Quick tab and the ANOVA Effects tab of the Analysis of an Experiment with Two- and Three-Level Factors dialog box contain an ANOVA table button. Click this button to produce two ANOVA tables for the current model, as specified in the Include in model box on the Model tab, based on the chosen error term in the ANOVA error term group box on the Model tab, and based on the parameterization that follows from the setting of the Use centered & scaled polynomials check box on the Quick tab or the ANOVA Effects tab.

ANOVA table for parameter estimates
The first spreadsheet shows separate sums-of-squares and significance tests for each parameter in the current model. Thus, separate sums-of-squares and F-tests are computed for the linear and quadratic main effects, and for each component (e.g., linear by linear, linear by quadratic, etc.) of the interactions.
ANOVA table for factor effects
The second spreadsheet contains the sums-of-squares and F-tests associated with the combined linear and quadratic effects and interactions.
