Workspace Node: 3D Surface Plots - Quick Tab

The 3D Scatterplots workspace node can be accessed from the Feature Finder, ribbon bar, or Node Browser. The Quick tab of the specifications dialog box is displayed by default when you double-click the node.

Element Name Description
Variables Click this button to display a variable selection dialog box, in which you can select the x-, y-, and z-axis variables for the graph. The selections made are displayed adjacent to the Variables button.
Fit You can fit one of several equations to the data or use a data smoothing procedure in the 3D surface plot by selecting one of the predefined functions on this tab.

Show Raw Data Points Select this check box if you want the raw data points to be overlaid on the graph surface. (If the points are not located directly on the surface, they will be "connected" to the surface by "spikes.")

OK Click this button to accept all the specifications made in the dialog box and to close it. The results are placed in the Reporting Documents node after running (updating) the project.
