GLZ Syntax - Keyword Initials

  { USER [ ( Value List ) ] };

Example

INITIALS = USER (0 .1 .1 .1);

Optional keyword; if USER is specified and no Value list is provided, then the program will prompt you (after clicking OK in the GLZ Analysis Syntax Editor) to specify start values for the iterative parameter estimation procedure, for each parameter in the model; if the optional Value list is specified following the USER option, then the respective values in the Value list will be taken as the start values for the iterative parameter estimation procedure. The default specification for INITIALS is NONE (default start values). For more information see the Introductory Overview.
