Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns/Rows - SD's

Ribbon Bar. Select the Statistics tab. In the Tools group, click Block Data Stats and on either the Block Columns submenu or the Block Rows submenu, select SD's.

Classic menus. On either the Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns submenu or the Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Rows submenu, select SD's.

This computes the standard deviation for each row or column in a selected block in the spreadsheet.

The standard deviations are computed and displayed in a new spreadsheet as columns or rows. Selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns displays the resulting statistic in a row and the case name includes the name of the selected statistic and the range description. Selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Rows displays the resulting statistic in a column and the variable name contains the name of the selected statistic and the range description.

Note: You can also access this option by right-clicking on a selected block in the spreadsheet and selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns/Rows - SDs from the Spreadsheet View shortcut menu.
