Order of Factors for Breakdown Tables

Click the Reorder factors in table button on the Statistics by Groups Results dialog box - Descriptives tab to display the Order of Factors for Breakdown Table dialog box. Use the options in this dialog box to change the order of grouping variables for the current analysis. You can specify the order of the factors for the marginal table (via the Marginal means button on the Statistics by Groups Results dialog box - Descriptives tab) and the order in which the within-group statistics are reported (via the Within-group correlations & covariances button on the Statistics by Groups Results dialog box - Correlations tab).

When reporting the within-group statistics, Statistica cycles through the groups in the current breakdown analysis so that the factor that was selected last is the one with the fastest changing subscript, the factor that was selected next to last is the one with the second fastest changing subscript, and so on. Hence, this option allows you to change the order of selected grouping variables, and thus the order in which the within-group statistics are reported.
