Import Rules
In the Rules Builder, select Import Rules option from the submenu to display the Import Rules dialog box.

| Rules | This field displays the name of the rule to be imported after a rules file has been selected via either the Enterprise button or the Files button |
| Edit | When a rules file has been selected via either the Enterprise button or the Files button, click the Edit button to display the Rules Builder dialog box, where you can edit the rules |
| Enterprise | Click this button to display the Select Deployed Rules dialog box, where you can select an existing rule set from Statistica Enterprise |
| Files | Click this button to display the Open dialog box, where you can browse to and open an existing rule set from a file |
| Version | These options is enabled if Statistica Document Management software is installed and enabled |
| Latest | Select this option button to retrieve the last rule set checked in |
| Latest Approved | Select this option button to retrieve the last approved rule set |
| Specific | Select this option button to retrieve a specific version of the rule set |
| Import Type | Rules can be referenced (linked to) or they can be copied. Typically, you should link to existing rules. Then, a rule set can be updated in one place and used in hundreds of analytic projects |
| Link | When an existing rule set is selected via the Enterprise button or the Files button, they are included within the new rules as a link |
| Copy | When an existing rule set is selected via the Enterprise button or the Files button, they are copied into the new rules |
