Classification Trees Results

Basic Ideas

Click the OK button in the Classification Trees Startup Panel to display the Classification Trees Results dialog box, which contains five tabs: Quick, Tree plot, Tree structure, Predicted classes, and Cross-validation. Use the options on these tabs to review the results for the classification tree for the dependent variable.

Element Name Description
Summary box The Summary box at the top of the dialog box displays a summary of the parameters established so far in the analysis.
Copy button Click the Copy button to copy either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color, etc.).
Contract/Expand button Click the Contract/Expand button to contract or expand the Summary box. When contracted, you can see only one line of the Summary box text and can scroll through the text using a scroll bar. Note that when contracted the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire Summary box will be displayed in the Classification Trees Results dialog box.
Tree plot Click the Tree plot button to display a graph of the classification tree selected in the analysis. Note that all labels and legends for the graph are produced as custom text, and can be edited, moved, or deleted via the Graph Options dialog box. Use the options in the Tree graph options group box on the Classification Trees Results dialog box - Tree Plot tab to control which labels, legends, and node plot type are produced for the graph.
Cancel Review the selections made for the analyses in the Summary box (see above), and if you want to modify them, click the Cancel button to return to the Classification Trees Startup Panel to make changes.
Options Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
