Categorized Missing and Out-of-Range Data Plots - Quick Tab

Graphical Analytic Techniques

Select the Quick tab of the Categorized Missing and Out-of-Range Data Plots Startup Panel to access the following options.

Layout. Select the type of layout for the graph(s).

Separate
Select this option button to produce a Separate plot layout (where each subset of cases is displayed in a separate graph) for the categorized plots.
Overlaid
Select this option button to produce an Overlaid plot layout (where all subsets are overlaid in one graph and identified by patterns and colors) for the categorized plots.
Variables
Click this button to display a variable selection dialog box, in which you can select the variable(s) to be plotted and the grouping variable to be categorized for the graph. The variable(s) that you select here will be plotted on the x-axis in the graph (against Cases on the y-axis). To use continuous variables, you must select the Multiple Subsets categories option button on the Advanced tab.
Intervals
Use the options in this group box to choose the method of categorization (i.e., for the grouping variable that will be used to categorize values of the dependent variable(s) in each small graph). Note that if you do not want to use grouping variables, you should use the Multiple Subsets categories option on the Advanced tab.) Each of the methods is discussed in Method of Categorization.
