MAN Analysis Syntax Editor - Keywords Tab
Select the Keywords tab of the MAN Analysis Syntax Editor to access options to enter command syntax to completely specify the analysis, as well as various parameters that are used in the computations. The available keywords can be typed directly into the Analysis syntax edit field, or entered by clicking the respective buttons to insert them in the Analysis syntax edit field at the location of the cursor.
Note: MANOVA and GLM syntax conventions. Overviews and examples are available for the MANOVA syntax. See ANOVA/MANOVA Syntax Overview and ANOVA/MANOVA Syntax Examples for further details. The MANOVA syntax conventions are essentially identical to the GLM syntax conventions [see the General Linear Model (GLM) module topics], with only a few omissions relating to the number of repeated measures factors, the number of categorical predictor factors, and the type of analysis.

- A variety of Keyword options are available. Click the respective Keyword buttons to insert the corresponding keyword into the Analysis syntax edit field at the current location of the cursor.
Most of the links below will take you to the description of the respective keywords in the context of the GLM syntax. However, note that ANOVA/MANOVA is a subset of GLM; consequently some of the keywords described in the context of the GLM syntax are not available in ANOVA/MANOVA; specifically, the following keywords are not supported:
COVARIATE (no designs with continuous predictors or covariates)
RANDOM (no designs with random effects)
SURFACE (no response surface designs for continuous predictor variables)
MIXTURE (no response surface designs for continuous mixture variables).
In addition, the REPEATED and WDESIGN keywords can only be used to specify a single repeated measures factor in ANOVA/MANOVA.
