Options for Response Profiler
Click the Options button on the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA Results dialog box - Profiler tab or the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA More Results dialog box - Profiler tab to display the Options Response Profiler dialog box, which is used to control a number of different functions of the Profiler tab.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Intervals | Use the options under Intervals to specify the intervals that are shown along with the predicted values on the Prediction profile compound graph, available when you click the View button on the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA Results dialog box - Profiler tab or the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA More Results dialog box - Profiler tab. Select the None option button to display only the predicted values and no intervals. Select Confidence intervals to display the confidence intervals and the predicted values. Finally, select Prediction intervals to display the prediction intervals and the predicted values. The default is Confidence intervals. |
Options for profile plots | Use the options under Options for profile plots to specify spreadsheets to be displayed along with the Prediction profile compound graph that is displayed when you click the View button on the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA Results dialog box - Profiler tab or the GLM, GRM, or ANOVA More Results dialog box - Profiler tab. |
Show Spreadsheets with plotted values | Select the Show Spreadsheets with plotted values check box to display spreadsheets with profile plot data for each of the dependent variables. One spreadsheet will show the predicted values of the dependent variables at each grid point for each predictor variable; a second spreadsheet will show the current levels of each predictor variable, and the predicted values of the dependent variables at the current levels of the predictor variables. Confidence intervals or prediction intervals for the predicted values are also shown if the Confidence intervals option button (see above) or the Prediction intervals option button, respectively, has been selected. If the Show desirability functions check box is selected on the Profiler tab, a third spreadsheet will show the Desirability function specifications that have been specified on the Profiler tab. In short, these spreadsheets provide a full listing of all values plotted in the compound graph of the prediction profiles. |
Label conf/pred limits for pred. values. | Select the Label conf/pred limits for pred. values check box to label the confidence/prediction limits on the Prediction profile compound graph. |
Show text labels for factor settings | Select the Show text vals for factor settings check box to label the categorical predictor variables on the Prediction profile compound graph with their text labels or numerical values. |
Fit options for desirability surface/contour | Use the options under Fit options for desirability surface/contour to select from among the several methods that are available for fitting surfaces/contours to the desirability values for the surface/contour plots (available when you click the 1 and 2 buttons respectively, on the Profiler tab). The Quadratic surface method is the default, but you can select the Least squares, Negative exponential, or Spline method by selecting the respective option button. Note that in order to produce triangular plots for mixture designs, use the Experimental Design module. |
Show the grid points | Select the Show the grid points check box to display the grid points on the surface and contour plots for each of the dependent variables. The surface and contour plots will be displayed when you click the 1 and 2 buttons respectively, on the Profiler tab. |
Area contours | Select the Area contours check box to display the contour plot as a series of areas. If this option in not selected, then the contour plot will be displayed as a series of lines. The contour plot will be displayed when you click the 2 button on the
Profiler tab.
