Hotelling T2, MEWMA, MCUSUM, and Multiple Stream Results Dialog Boxes - Charts Tab

Use the options on this tab to create and update the respective multivariate chart and display details (values, statistics) for each sample.

Element Name Description
Charts Click this button to display or update the current chart. If the current chart was created in real-time mode, then clicking the Chart button will update the current chart.
Descriptives Click this button to create spreadsheets with summary statistics and the respective plot point values (e.g., T-square values, upper and lower control limit values, plot point values for the Generalized Variance chart, assigned causes and actions, etc.).
Supportive descriptives Click this button to create a spreadsheet of detailed sample statistics, including (for the appropriate charts) sample means, and variances/covariances.
Check alarms Click this button to create a spreadsheet with the current summary of possible control chart violations (quality problems) that may trigger alarms. STATISTICA will check and report all (potential) alarms as described on the Options dialog box - Alarm tab regardless of whether checking of specific violations (e.g., a specific alarm) is requested. The results spreadsheet will indicate in the column headers which violations are currently being monitored:
  • Not Applicable label - the respective type of violation is not applicable to the current type of chart or that the specifications for the current chart are such that the respective type of violation is not applicable (e.g., no warning limits were specified);
  • Not Checked label - the respective type of violation is not currently being monitored by the program (see also the Options dialog box - Alarm tab for details).

This spreadsheet provides a useful quick summary of the types of problems that may be evident in the current control chart.
