Element Name | Description |
---|---|
ARIMA & autocorrelation functions | Click the ARIMA & autocorrelation functions button to display the Single Series ARIMA dialog box, in which you specify the ARIMA model. Use this dialog box to test seasonal and non-seasonal ARIMA models. Refer to the Overview for details concerning this method. |
Interrupted time series analysis | Click the Interrupted time series analysis button to display the Interrupted Time Series ARIMA (Intervention Analysis) dialog box, in which you specify the interrupted time series models. In general, with these models, you can test whether and how events at specific points in time affect subsequent observations in the time series. Refer to the Overview for details concerning this method. |
Exponential smoothing & forecasting | Click the Exponential smoothing & forecasting button to display the Seasonal and Nonseasonal Exponential Smoothing dialog box. For more information on this method, see Exponential Smoothing. |
Spectral (Fourier) analysis | Click the Spectral (Fourier) analysis button to display the Fourier (Spectral) Analysis dialog box. For more information on this method, see Single Spectrum (Fourier) Analysis and Cross-spectrum Analysis. |
Seasonal decomposition (Census 1) | Click the Seasonal decomposition (Census 1) button to display the Ratios-to-Moving Averages Classical Seasonal Decomposition (Census Method I) dialog box, in which you specify the census 1 seasonal decomposition. For more information on this method, see Seasonal Decomposition (Census I). |
X11/Y2k (Census 2) - monthly | Click the X11/Y2k (Census 2) - monthly button to display the X11/Y2k Monthly Seasonal Adjustment (Census Method II) dialog box, in which you specify the X11 monthly seasonal adjustment. For more information, see X11 monthly seasonal decomposition (Census II). |
X11/Y2k (Census 2) - quarterly | Click the X11/Y2k (Census 2) - quarterly button to display the X11/Y2k Quarterly Seasonal Adjustment (Census Method II) dialog box, in which you specify the X11 quarterly seasonal adjustment. For more information, see X11 quarterly seasonal decomposition (Census II). |
Distributed lags analysis | Click the Distributed lags analysis button to display the Distributed Lags Analysis dialog box, in which you specify the variables and other aspects of this analysis. For more information on this method, see Distributed Lags Analysis. |
