Plot: Normal Probability

These options are available in the Normal Probability dialog box as well as on the Normal Probability tab of the Graph Options dialog box.

Use these options to specify the type of probability plot that you want to plot in your graph. You can also choose to include a test statistic for testing the normality of the data and select the format for the values to be displayed in your graph.

Plot
Use the Plot drop-down box to select the plot to which you want to make changes. If you have several plots in one graph, assign names to each plot using the Name field on the Plot: General tab.
Statistics
Click the Statistics button to display the Statistics dialog box in which you can choose to include the Shapiro-Wilk statistic for normality and the associated p-value. This dialog box also is used to choose from the Value Format list the format in which the values on the graph will be displayed. Note that if you do select a statistic to include in your graph, the Add Legend dialog box will also be displayed, which is used to select where and how to attach the statistic to the graph.
Do not assign average ranks to tied observations
This check box is selected by default, which enables you to see all data points, even the ties. When this check box is not selected, the "tied" points will overlap.
Type
Select the type of probability plot (Normal, Half-Normal, or Detrended) to be plotted from the Type drop-down box.
