Specify A Priori Classification Probabilities

Click any button on the Discriminant Function Analysis Results dialog box - Classifications tab when the User Defined option button is selected in the A priori classification probabilities group box to display the Specify A Priori Classification Probabilities dialog box. Use these options to specify the a priori probabilities for each group in the discriminant function analysis. If those probabilities do not add up to 1, STATISTICA will automatically adjust them proportionately.
OK. Click the OK button to accept the a priori probability values that you have entered and return to the Discriminant Function Analysis Results dialog box - Classification tab.
Cancel. Click the Cancel button to return to the Discriminant Function Analysis Results dialog box - Classification tab, disregarding any a priori probability values entered.
- Common Value
- Use the Common Value field (and the accompanying microscrolls) to specify an a priori probability value that will be used for each of the groups.
- Apply
- Click the Apply button to copy the a priori probability value that you entered in the Common Value field to the individual group fields.
