2D Scatterplots with Box Plots

Creates 2D scatterplots with box plots for all continuous dependent variables against all continuous predictors.

Element Name Description
General
Scatterplot fit Specifies whether to fit a curve or function to the scatterplot data.
Displays statistics Specifies whether to display various summary statistics in the graphs.
Graph type Specifies the type of 2D box plot to compute and display for each variable in the scatterplots.
Middle point Specifies the type of center point value to compute and display for the box-whiskers plot computed for each variable in the scatterplots. Note that the Box values Whisker values must be specified to be consistent with the chosen statistic.
Box
Mean center; box value Specifies the method for computing box-upper and box-lower limits; applies to Mean Middle point only.
Mean center, box coeff. Specifies the coefficient for the boxes; applies to Mean Middle point only.
Median center; box value Specifies the method used to determine box upper and lower limits for Median Middle point; applicable to Median Middle point only.
Median center, box coeff. Specifies the coefficient of the boxes; applies to Median Middle point only.
Whiskers
Mean center, whisker value Specifies the Whisker type; applicable to Mean Middle point only.
Mean center, whisker coeff. Specifies the Whisker coefficient; applicable to Mean Middle point only.
Median center, whisker value Specifies the Whisker type; applicable to Median Middle point only.
Median center, whisker coeff. Specifies the Whisker coefficient; applicable to Median Middle point only.
Outliers
Plots outliers/extremes Specifies whether and the type of outlier (extreme value range) to display in the box and whiskers plot.
Outlier coefficient Specifies the outlier coefficient.
