Select Data Sources

Click the Add Data Source button on the Statistica Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): ID-based Startup Panel - Quick or Advanced tab or the Statistica Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Time-indexed Startup Panel - Quick or Advanced tab to display the Select Data Sources dialog box.

The list in this dialog box displays data sources added by the first three buttons (Documents, PI Interpolated Data, and Analysis/Data Configurations, described below). This list displays the type of data source and the path to the data source.

Element Name Description
Documents Click this button to display the Select Documents dialog box, where you can select currently open data sources or browse to and open Statistica spreadsheets, workbooks, and InPlaceDB connections as well as Excel spreadsheets
PI Interpolated Data This button is only available on systems with the Statistica PI Connector and the supporting PI SDK. Click this button to display the PI Interpolated Data dialog box, where you can log on to one or more PI System databases and select one or more PI tags
Analysis/Data Configurations This button is only available on systems that include a Statistica Enterprise installation and a valid connection to a local OLE DB compliant database (Oracle, SQL, SQL Server Express, or Access. Click the Analysis/Data Configurations button to display the Select Analysis or Data Configuration dialog box, which contains the same options as the Select Object dialog box. A folder-structure tree contains all the analyses and/or data configurations to which the current user has read-access.
Remove Select a data source in the list, and click the Remove button to delete that source. The Remove button is disabled if no data source is selected
OK Click this button to add the selected data sources to the list on the Statistica Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): ID-based Startup Panel - Quick or Advanced tab or the Statistica Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Time-indexed Startup Panel - Quick or Advanced tab
Cancel Click the Cancel button to exit the Select Data Sources dialog box without selecting a data source
