Selection Tool Button

Click the button to enable the selection mode, which is the default mode for all graph windows (indicated when the button is depressed). This mode will allow you to use the left-click to select graph objects (e.g., arrows, embedded or linked objects, etc.) or different parts of the graph (e.g., titles, scales, gridlines, etc.) for customization, editing, or interactive analysis. You will temporarily exit from this selection mode whenever you choose one of the interactive graph customization options (e.g., brushing, add text, draw arrows and other objects, embed graphs). Once you have completed drawing the selected object, you will automatically return to this mode.
