Reliability Results - Attenuation Tab

Select the Attenuation tab of the Reliability Results dialog box to access options to estimate the correlation, corrected for attenuation (due to less than perfect reliability of measures), between the current scale (given its current reliability) and another measure (given its user-specified reliability). Element Name Description
Correlation between current scale and other measure Enter the value of a correlation between the current test and another measure in this field.
Reliability of other measure Enter the reliability of the other measure in this field. The Correlation corrected for attenuation field shows the corrected correlation based on the correlation and reliability entered.
Corrected correlation Click the Corrected correlation button to display a spreadsheet that contains the correlation, the reliability, and the corrected correlation.
