Reliability Results - More Items? Tab
Select the More items? tab of the Reliability Results dialog box to access options to estimate the reliability of the scale if a particular number of items is added. It is assumed that the intercorrelation among the new items is equivalent to that of the old items. For more information, see Reliability and Item Analysis - Introductory Overview.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Number of new items | Enter the number of items to be added to the scale in the Number of new items box (or use the microscrolls). STATISTICA will then compute the reliability of the scale that may be expected if that many items are added. The Resultant alpha field shows the Alpha that would result if the given number of new items are added. |
