SPC Charts - Chart Settings

Use this tab to define the following parameters:

Element Name Description
Exclude from Computations code In this text box, enter the code for excluding samples from computations. Specify the samples to be excluded by using the variable selected with characteristic label information (include) in the data. A value of '1' can be used as exclusion code in the variable to exclude samples from computations.
Exclude from graph and Computations code In this text box, enter the code for excluding samples from graph and computations. Specify the samples to be excluded by using the variable selected with characteristic label information (include) in the data.  A value of '2' can be used as exclusion code in the variable to exclude samples from both the graphs and computations.
X-bar minimum sample size Use this miniscroll to select the minimum sample size of X-Bar type charts. The value specified should fall within the range >=1 and <=32000, otherwise a default value of 2 will be used as minimum sample size.  If the node has already been run, the most recent valid value used in this field will be applied to the analysis.
EWMA minimum sample size Use this miniscroll to select the minimum sample size of EWMA type charts. The value specified should fall within the range >=1 and <=32000, otherwise a default value of 1 will be used as minimum sample size. If the node has already been run, the most recent valid value used in this field will be applied to the analysis.
Lambda for EWMA Use this miniscroll to select a Lambda value for the EWMA charts (within the range  > 0 and < 1, default will be 0.1).
MA minimum sample size Use this miniscroll to select the minimum sample size of MA type charts. The value specified should fall within the range >=1 and <=32000, otherwise a default value of 1 will be used as minimum sample size. If the node has already been run, the most recent valid value used in this field will be applied to the analysis.
Moving average span Use this miniscroll to select the moving average span (window size) for the MA charts. The value specified should fall within the range >=2 and <=20, otherwise a default value of 2 will be used as moving average span. If the node has already been run, the most recent valid value used in this field will be applied to the analysis.
