Advanced Tab
Select the Advanced tab of the Link Analysis Results dialog box to access the options described here.
With all single items
Clicking a results button (spreadsheet or graph) contained in the With all single items group box (Sequence rules, Frequent itemsets, Support graph, and Confidence graph, described below) will produce results for all items in the Item name list. Clicking the other results buttons will produce results only on the selected items in the Item name list.
Sequence rules
Click this button to display a results spreadsheet showing the individual itemsets contained in the body and head portions of the final sequence/association rules. Specifically, the spreadsheet will report for each itemset the itemset frequency, the percentage of support and confidence (as well as lift values for association type of analysis).
Frequent itemsets
Click this button to display a spreadsheet showing the individual itemsets contained in the body and head portions of the final sequence/association rules. Specifically, the spreadsheet will report for each itemset the itemset frequency, number of items and the support values.
Support graph
Click this button to display a 3D histogram depicting the support values for each sequence/association rule. The heights of the bars in this plot will indicate the support values for the respective rules.
Confidence graph
Click this button to display a 3D histogram depicting the confidence values for each sequence/association rule. The heights of the bars in this plot will indicate the confidence values for the respective rules.
Rule graph
Click this button to display a graphical summary for the final set of the sequence/association rules for the specific items selected in the Item name list (located at the top of the Link Analysis Results dialog box). In this graph, the support values for the body and head portions of each rule are indicated by the size of each circle. The colors of the circles indicate the relative confidence. A minimum of two items in the Item name list must be selected in order to produce a rule graph.
Web graph
Click this button to display a graphical summary for the final set of the association rules for the specific items selected in the Item name list (located at the top of the Link Analysis Results dialog). In this graph, the support values for the body and head portions of each association rule are indicated by the size of each circle. The thickness of each line indicates the relative joint support of two items and its color indicates their relative lift. A minimum of two items in the Item name list must be selected in order to produce a web graph.
Frequent itemsets only with selected items
Click this button to display a spreadsheet showing the selected itemsets that are contained in the body and head portions of the final sequence/association rules. Specifically, the spreadsheet will report for each itemset the frequency with which it was encountered, number of items and the support value, expressed in percent. To produce this spreadsheet, first select the items of your choice in the Item name list, and then click this button.
Rules only with selected items
Click this button to display a results spreadsheet showing the selected individual itemsets that are contained in the body and head portions of the final sequence/association rules. Specifically, the spreadsheet will report for each itemset the frequency with which it was encountered and the percentage of support and confidence as well as lift values. To produce this spreadsheet, first select the items of your choice in the Item name list, and then click this button.
